Members
Welcome to the Minnesota South Area Al-Anon and Alateen Members web page. We look forward to providing news of happenings in the Area, open access to resources for literature, meeting materials to aid in starting new Al-Anon/Alateen meetings or to supplement existing meetings, blank digital forms for common Al-Anon-related tasks and whatever else may help others on their recovery path from the family disease of alcoholism.
This page will remain open to the public for now. Consideration is being given to requiring a password-protected log in for members in service to our MN South Area, Districts, and Groups to securely access non-public resources such as area and committee meeting agendas, minutes, Delegates’ Reports, archive materials, Coordinators’ Reports, service position descriptions, fillable forms, and much more.
Changing your Al‑Anon group’s information or registering a new Al-Anon group
If anything about your group changes, the World Service Office, the Area and your District Representative need to know about it. You should fill out an Al-Anon Group Records Form and forward it to the Area Group Records Coordinator <mnsa_afg_web@yahoo.com>. You can download this form and instructions on how to fill it out from the group information change page on the WSO members’ website. You can make the changes on-line on this same page. If you want to register a new group, use the New Al-Anon Group Registration Form available with instructions on the new Al-Anon group registration page. This can also be done on-line. If you do submit changes on-line, you should also notify the Area Group Records Coordinator and your District Representative. If the group is in the metro area, please also notify Minneapolis Al-Anon/Alateen Information Services (<alanon@pobox.com> or 952-920-3961). Note: The old GR-1 form is obsolete and may not be used for changing group information or registering a new group.
